Ahmet Ali Taskin has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He has previously worked as an economist at the Central Bank of The Republic of Turkey and as a post-doctoral researcher at Ulm University. He is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He is also a senior researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). Dr. Taskin’s research focuses on banking, household finance, labor economics, and housing. He has works in the intersection of financial markets and housing/labor markets both from the point of firms and households.
